How it works?
Tennis Fnatic hosts your matches database. You fill the database with your match data, meaning there is an effort needed on your part to get the maximum from the app.
Database setup
The information about your matches is stored in the database. Hence, you must set up a few things before recording your matches. It's easy to do.
Play
Now you are on the court crushing your opponents. Tennis Fnatic is in your tennis bag, waiting for input afterward.
Data processing
The application will then process the data you entered and prepare the results for you to analyze.
Result analysis
Your effort is being paid for at this stage. We prepared numerous analyses about your game.
No ads, no distractions, no need for entering every point
The Tennis Fnatic app doesn't serve ads to your device. The only thing you have to do is register and start enjoying it. To get your game statistics, you don't need to enter every point outcome into the app. There are such apps out there, but they are impractical. With Tennis Fnatic app, the match data is entered only once, after the match.
Questions you may have
Contact us at any time if you have questions.
-
When adding matches, do I need to enter all the data?
When it comes to saving matches, some data are mandatory to enter. For instance, your match opponent or match results. Other data types can be omitted, like answering what rating you assign to each shot type for a particular match. But remember that the more data you enter, the more information you get after the analysis.
-
Do I need to save match data immediately after it ends?
You can save the match data at any time. However, things are more straightforward if they are recent; thus, we recommend to our users to enter the data as soon as possible after the match.
-
Can anyone see my data (for instance, my opponents, locations, or tournaments)?
No, the data you enter into the app and the data analysis about your game performance are visible only to you.
-
Can the data from the wristbands and smartwatches be uploaded into the app?
No, for now, the app doesn’t support that feature.
-
How accurate the Tennis Fnatic app stats is since I'm the only one feeding in the data?
Well, a lot of data you enter before and after the match can be 100% accurate. Things like match results (games and sets), location info (surface type, indoor or outdoor), match duration, the opponent characteristics (left- or right-handed, forehand and backhand style), and others can be bulletproof. The data about your shot satisfaction level and the number of winners and unforced errors are a bit fuzzy. Think of them as completing a questionnaire after the match. If you rate your shots objectively, not sugarcoating the data, then those data can also be accurate.
